Akio Daniel Junior was born in Uganda on January 15, 2004. His family is Christian and they stay in the village of Barr, located in the Lira district of rural northern Uganda. He lost both of his parents in 2012, and he is staying with his grandmother, Okello Rose. Rose is a peasant farmer and struggles to provide for the 4 children in her care. Daniel helps out at home with fetching water. He is in the Primary 6 Class at St. Ann Primary School. His favorite subject is English and he hopes to become a politician when he grows up. He is HIV positive and receiving treatment for it and his asthma. In his spare time, Daniel loves reading, drawing pictures and playing football (soccer) with his friends at school. He asks for prayers to be a good boy and for abundant blessings.

Kibugumo Misach was born on Nov 13, 2011. He is in the Primary 3 class in Jinja. His father passed away when he was two years old and his mother struggles to find day jobs to support her children . He loves math and football (soccer)

Olodoto Alupakushadi is a playful teen who enjoys playing football and singing. He was born on October 5, 2008. He attends Happy House Primary School where he is in the Primary 4 class. His favorite subject is math, and he hopes to become a doctor. Alupakushadi is born again, and lives with his mother and siblings, in a one room brick home that houses seven people. His parents are separated, and his mother is the sole provider for the family, as his father is disabled and unemployed. She makes little money by washing clothes for others. Alupakushadi helps his family by fetching water and washing utensils. He asks God to provide him a sponsor and for a long life.
