The AOET Health Center

The Operation One Health Center Campaign funds the AOET Health Center staff and daily operations.
The AOET Health Center is located in a high-need, low-resourced community in the densely populated town of Bugembe in the Eastern Region of Uganda.

The Health Center offers quality care, which includes immunizations, malaria testing and treatment, HIV testing and care, maternal healthcare and deliveries, vasectomies, treatment of respiratory illnesses, diarrheal diseases, high blood pressure, health education and more. They serve the local community, sponsored children and their families, and AOET’s full staff. Currently the Health Center employs 18 Ugandan staff: a clinician, midwife, nurses, laboratory techs and health counselors.

The potential for impacting more lives is exponential with the growth and stability of the clinic, and we anticipate the clinic could touch 100% of Bugembe’s population of 45,000 through its health services, education, and outreach.
