Ngobi Eriya was born in Uganda in November 2011, but doesn’t know the exact date. His family is Catholic and they stay in the village of Njeru, located in the Buikwe district. He is a total orphan, having lost both of his parents to HIV/AIDS. Eriya is cared for by his paternal grandma, who has asthma and is often sick. She is a small scale farmer, but struggles to provide for her household of six people. Eriya is in the Primary 6 class at Bernadette Primary School. He recently lost his sponsorship and is in need of a new donor so that he can continue his education.
